Fantastic Dive Boat on a Fantastic Exploration route !
Flying from Gatwick to Hurghada on Friday 10 August (9am departure), then a coach transfer from airport to Port Ghalib marina to reach the Deep South Reefs.
The diving itinerary includes the Deep South Red Sea Reefs of St.Johns, Rocky Island and Zabargad where there are opportunities to see Mantas & Whale Sharks as well as some world class coral reef systems.
This is a great opportunity for wildlife enthusiasts and anybody with a camera will have a perfect opportunity to get superb Foto & Video images on a six day cruise with 17 awesome dives !
Master Instructor RAFF is leading the trip, and more than half the Blue Ocean Instructor team are fighting to get on this one - so there will always be somebody keen to conduct any training you would like & ensure that you get the best from your Southern Red Sea dives, we'll all be on a mission to help everyone enjoy themselves...
The Voyager is the very latest Live-Aboard in the Blue-O-Two fleet.
At 37m long and 8m wide she is one of the largest dive boats operating in Egypt, and being steel hulled she is strong, stable and safe !
With NITROX OPTION for all qualified divers on board, and a huge dive platform 8m x 6m there is none of the push & shove before or after dives….she caters for the more discerning explorer. 12L Aluminium tanks are standard, with options to upgrade to 15L steel or Twinsets / SideMount on request (prior to departure from UK).
Catering for 24 guests in 2 master suite double cabins & 10 twin cabins - all ensuite with air-con, the 11 staff and 3 guides have time & space to deliver total quality to everyone on board.
With the salon/bar/dining room all being separate there is always air-con cool space to relax…. And with an upper Sky-Deck as well as the Top-Deck with its own bar - there’s room to chill in the sun too ! There are massive flat screen TVs in both Salon & Bar areas with video/DVD and music systems for entertainment between dives.
After the return coach transfer from Port Ghalib, the rest of departure day is spent on shore at a nice Beach Hotel in Hurghada with pools and restaurants/bars to keep you amused whilst off-gassing before the flight home...
To participate in this tour you need appropriate qualifications and dive experience.
We have set the minimum standard as PADI Master Scuba Diver - ie Rescue Diver with 5 PADI Specialtys including Nitrox & Deep and minimum 50 dives logged.
