School Trip : July 8th 2012 Sharm-el-Sheikh

Early School Holidays in the Red Sea

Sharm El Sheikh ~ Mexicana Resort
Ras Mohammed - Straits of Tiran - Thistlegorm Wreck

Guided by our PADI Course Director RYBY (and others in the team) to conduct any training you would like & ensure that you get the very best from your Red Sea dives. This trip has been deliberately planned to fit the first week of the School Holidays – to cater for groups of school students* who have already completed the Open Water Training in Class & Pool wanting to qualify in the clear warm waters of the Red Sea…
Also ideal for Scubaholics Club divers that have families wanting to come on holiday either to dive or bubble watch - the diving here is beautiful, with most reefs being untouched massive coral fields, with excellent snorkelling for those that aren't bubble-blowers !!!
Everyone is welcome if you want to do your Open Water Qualifying dives... and the Advanced Course is running too, with an option to complete the Ocean Pack of Specialties. The schedule is flexible, allowing for 6 full days diving and a relaxing last day to dry kit and off-gas by the pools.

Gatwick departures are early Sunday Morning 8th July 9.15am - getting into resort in time for a good first night on holiday… return flights to Gatwick arrive late the following Sunday night (July 15th 22.45pm), so you get a full day by the pool to chill-out and top off the tan.

Staying in the Mexicana 3*(+) Resort will guarantee a better standard of facilities than cheaper Red Sea "Dive Hostels" - as experienced by several of the Blue Ocean trips in 2010/2011 ( we've always had a great time there …. )
This is an All-Inclusive  package when staying here : Great Value For Money !!!!
The Mexicana Hotel is a quiet, safe hotel situated out of Sharm town centre, ideal for school groups as it is isolated from any temptation of bars & clubs.

Diving with Ocean College on modern well equipped dive hard-boats, with all appropriate safety equipment and large dive decks for kitting up. The local Instructors & Divemaster Dive-Guides are on board to ensure that all experienced divers have stress free tours and to help identify key points of interest.

Six days diving start with the Garden Reefs, Ras Kati & White Knight dive sites to complete Open Water & Advanced Courses and refresh experienced divers. The second half of the week moves on to the Big Walls and Drift dives on the Straights of Tiran and beautiful reefs further away from Sharm Bay.

The Stunning Ras Mohammed National Park reefs and the Wrecks of the Dun Raven and Yolande can be arranged for small surcharge (well worth it !! ). And for those qualified as Advanced Divers by the end of the week - there may be an opportunity to dive the world famous Thistlegorm wreck….

Standard dive packs include 2 dives / day - many divers opt for extra dives to make the most of the trips, often getting 16 or 18 dives in during the week !

Evenings are casual, usually involving a chill-out around the pool and dinner in the buffet restaurant (all you can eat) or maybe dinner out at one of the many excellent restaurants in town for a change…
