Tried &
Tested Blue Ocean Destination for
Great Diving !
Flying from Gatwick to Marsa Alam on Wednesday 22nd April (10.15am departure), with a short transfer from airport to the Coral Beach Hotel of only 10mins – dive travel at it’s most convenient !!!!
Quality accommodation in the Marina Lodge Resort where most rooms have a terrace with a pool or sea view. All rooms have ensuite shower / wc, air-conditioning, fridge & satellite TV. There are two restaurants to choose from with Half Board and varied menus changing daily, and several pools with garden areas, a health club and with both air-con & roof-top bars to make it a great place to stay.
Planned deliberately to avoid School Holidays – ideal for those of you that are “sharm’d out” – the diving here is beautiful, with most reefs being untouched massive coral fields, with excellent snorkelling for those that aren’t bubble-blowers !!! The schedule is flexible, allowing for 6 full days diving and a relaxing last day to dry kit and off-gas by the pools.
Guided by our PADI Master Instructor Raff to conduct any training you would like & ensure that you get the best from your Southern Red Sea dives, we have a great chance to see large Rays, Sharks & Dolphins…. - and possibly the resident Dugong (Egyptian Manatee).
Diving is with Emperor Divers on modern well equipped dive hard-boats with options for RiBs on certain trips. The logistics at Port Ghalib are very slick – with the Dive Boats being moored next to the hotel pool – which means that the air-con hotel bar is less than a minute away from the boat at the end of a great day diving !!!!!
Standard dive packs include 2 dives / day – many divers opt for extra dives to make the most of the trips, often getting 16 or 18 dives in during the week.
Six days diving start with local reefs to complete Open Water & Advanced Courses and refresh experienced divers with easy conditions. Specialty training is available throughout the week with various deals on offer for those of you looking for a bargain – photography here is awesome !!!
The second half of the week moves on to more challenging dive sites, and the world famous reefs at such as Elphinstone and Dolphin House can be arranged for a small surcharge (well worth it !).
Evenings are casual, usually involving a chill-out with dinner in the unlimited all-you-can-eat Buffet, or the smaller fast food style eatery, and obviously there is liquid refreshment around the pool, on the roof top sunset bar or in the air-con hotel bar.
