Course Details

A Specialty in accordance with PADI’s Project AWARE (Aquatic World Awareness Responsibility & Education), this program helps you learn about the key identifying features and habits of the major fish groups.

If you’re amazed at the thousands of fish – you’ll be pleased to be able to separate them into easily identifiable families, and the more you learn, the easier it gets – very soon you’ll be an underwater twitcher!

You'll complete TWO training dives learning the techniques used to identify key markers that differentiate fish types, covering physical and behavioural characteristics - and how to reference them in textbooks.

This PADI Specialty is available on any of the Blue Ocean Holiday trips
