PADI Search and Recovery will provide with you invaluable practical skills during FOUR training dives.
These skills will certainly be used beyond the training course – both for yourself and your dive buddies.

During this specialty you will gain experience of different types of line searches used to find and recover objects over the course of four dives. You will learn the techniques of circular rope searches, expanding square and U-shape search patterns for medium to large sized items like torches & knives. You will also learn how to coordinate and set up a Jack-Stay search for very small objects such as jewellery.

Techniques for rigging and lifting different sized objects are also practiced.
Hazards and problems with search and recovery dives are discussed.

This 4  dive training course is conducted at either Stoney Cove or Vobster Quay over two days
- which leaves time for an EXTRA DIVE for free... The Navigation Challenge Dive - should you decide to accept it !

Search techniques learned here are applied on the PADI Rescue Diver course when searching for missing divers
– quite serious stuff… but great fun in training.
