Dover Wrecks Dive RIB Trips

The Big Adventure… UK RiB Diving in the Channel

RiB 1 - 214   RiB 2 - 214

Running weekend full day boat charters with “CopperHead Diver” out of Dover in 2012, the diving is great fun for all Scubaholics Club Members with appropriate training wanting to build experience.
The waters in the English Channel are a packed full of fantastic wrecks ideal for safe exploration – and are the next logical step for any divers comfortable diving in the delights of Stoney & Chepstow.

Minimum Qualification to join these trips is PADI Advanced with Deep & Wreck Specialty, and we recommend that you also have Drysuit/Night/Nitrox to get the most out of the dives.
Every diver must have Primary and Backup Torches and SMB/Reel ( and be proficient in using them ), and we recommend diving with a redundant air source – pony rig [available to rent at Blue Ocean].

The 8m RiB is fully MCA coded – and operated by experienced Channel Diver “Chris” who knows the Dover Wrecks and can help with all aspects of RiB/Wreck diving – he also provides Soup & Rolls after dives !
The boat can take 12 people : we have elected to take only 10 to give more space and comfort for all.
Of the 10 divers – only 4 can be on Twins/SideMount : leaving room for 6 divers on single tanks.
Each day is a 2 dive trip with a shore based extended surface interval dictated by tides, which enables cylinder changes and snacks etc back at the car park.
